Thank you AdventureSmith Family of Travelers! So far this year you have contributed over $2000 to Alaska Geographic, our conservation partners in Alaska. We are proud to support their environmental education programs in Alaska’s wildlands.
AdventureSmith Explorations is committed to sustainable tourism and contributing positively to the individuals, communities and environments encountered by every AdventureSmith traveler. Through a network of local and global conservation partners we provide a means for travelers to make a contribution while at the same time enhancing your own travel experience through education and outreach. Every traveler who books an Alaska small ship cruise or land adventure with AdventureSmith Explorations is introduced to Alaska Geographic and asked to make a contribution when making payment for their trip. More than 90% of our travelers make contributions. We are grateful to have such as caring clientele and we are pleased to fulfill our mission of sustainable travel by making this connection between traveler and place. Alaska Geographic is the statewide nonprofit educational partner for all these public lands, and more. Established at statehood in 1959, Alaska Geographic works hand-in-hand with Alaska’s parks, forests, and refuges. We are their bookstore, publisher, educator, and supporter.
Alaska Geographic is a non-profit bookstore, publisher, educator, and supporter of Alaska’s public lands–and the official non-profit partner of Alaska’s 15 national parks, 16 national wildlife refuges, and America’s two largest national forests, plus a variety of other public lands. Our core purpose is to support Alaska’s parks, forests, and refuges—and to help you connect to these remarkable landscapes. We believe the more you know about Alaska’s public lands, the more you’ll care about their future.
